A Connecticut Auto Accident was responsible for leaving four people seriously injured. The Wallingford Patch explains the crash occurred just before 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, near the intersection of Route 68 and Barnes Industrial Road.
Reports indicate a local man was driving a 1998 Volkswagen Beetle east along Route 68 when he suddenly began to veer towards the oncoming lane of traffic. The car crossed the double yellow lines and the left front side of the Volkswagen struck a 2012 Kia Optima nearly head-on.
The impact not only left the driver of the Beetle seriously injured, but also the Meriden man driving the Kia and his two children who were passengers in the vehicle. Emergency responders transported all four victims to local trauma centers for treatment to their injuries.
