BETTINA K. CAVANAGH

Attorney

Dedication to her clients, focused determination, and compassion have been the hallmarks of Attorney Bettina K. Cavanagh‘s career as an attorney. She is dedicated to pursuing justice through zealous advocacy, attention to the details of each individual case, and her strong sense of empathy for an injured client, all of which drive her desire to secure fair and just compensation for her clients.

Attorney Cavanagh brings to Carter Mario Law Firm a varied background in both insurance defense litigation and the plaintiff’s personal injury work. Prior to joining the Carter Mario team, Attorney Cavanagh worked for a large insurance company as a defense attorney where she tried numerous jury cases to verdict and represented clients in countless mediations and arbitrations. She also spent over 10 years working and advocating on behalf of injured clients as a personal injury attorney. This varied experience, on both sides of the aisle, has given Attorney Cavanagh the experience and ability to analyze cases from both the plaintiff and defense perspectives, focusing on the strengths of her client’s case, while at the same time identifying the weaknesses that will be the focus of any defense of a claim.

Attorney Cavanagh earned her law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rosemont College in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. Attorney Cavanagh is admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.

Attorney Cavanagh is also involved in giving back to the community as an active member, along with her daughters, of the Redding Chapter of the National Charity League, which serves various charities throughout Fairfield County. She volunteers at Operation Hope and is a past president of the Easton Parent Teacher Association and a former cheer coach for the Aspetuck Wildcats Cheer Organization. In her free time, Attorney Cavanagh enjoys spending time with her family, running, cooking, and traveling.

Attorney Cavanagh is a seasoned and highly experienced attorney who will compassionately and zealously advocate for you. She will guide you through the steps of filing an injury claim and help you understand the claim filing process.
