The Connecticut Post reported that a man is suing the town for the Connecticut auto accident that injured his 17-year-old daughter last July and left another teen with severe injuries. The intent to sue notice lays fault on the town for failing to provide a traffic light or stop sign at the intersection where the drunk-driving accident occurred that injured the teens.
The two girls were in a vehicle with three other passengers when a pickup truck slammed into them. The driver of the vehicle the teens were in failed to stop at the intersection and give the pickup driver the right of way, and the driver failed several sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of .154.
While the driver of the vehicle that was hit was charged for failing to grant the right of way, the man filing the suit believes the city is at fault in the Connecticut car accident.
