Even with a wobbly economy, firework sales are up this year across the state of Connecticut. As reported by NBC Connecticut, business has been good this year for local fireworks stand in Milford, Connecticut.
State law prohibits the sale of any kind of firework besides sparklers and ground fountains, and limits sales to patrons 16 or older. This local stand takes safety seriously by only selling to those 18 and older, and makes it point to educate each patron on the proper use and disposal of their purchases.
Management at the establishment states, “If you don’t know how to use them, we make sure you know how to use them. We give you a safety sheet.”
