Family Promise of Central CT
Family Promise of Central Connecticut (FPCCT) is a nonprofit service coordination program for homeless families with minor children. With the support of a network of nineteen different places of worship and over two hundred volunteers, FPCCT provides food, shelter, and case management services to our program “guests.”
Unlike most traditional shelters, where mothers may be separated from their teenage sons, and fathers from their young children, FPCCT is one of only a handful of programs in Connecticut that keeps families intact.
FPCCT recognizes that family homelessness and poverty are complex issues that require comprehensive, innovative solutions. Solving homelessness is not just about housing. Our holistic approach to the crisis of family homelessness includes improving job skills, financial literacy and focusing on mental health and wellness.
Here at FPCCT our guests are treated like family by our staff and team volunteers. We are dedicated to serving homeless children and their families with dignity while they work to achieve lasting independence. Our program does not receive any government funding, so we rely on donations from our community. We appreciate your support to help us fight homelessness one family at a time.
